UVEXS's ultraviolet spot curing unit is a highly portable, lightweight UV curing system that utilizes a flexible optic wand to precisely direct the UV energy. Our spot cure system is perfect for localized exposure of UV curable adhesives and coatings. More about the UV Spot Curing Unit (SCU).
The UVEXS ultraviolet conveyor curing unit is designed to meet the demand for a versatile bench top UV curing system. The Model CCU provides a high performance way to cure UV inks, coatings, encapsulants and adhesives in seconds. Our UV curing conveyor is ideal for electronics, medical or converting applications. More about the UV Conveyor Curing Unit (CCU).
The small area ultraviolet curing unit (SAC, or SACC with UV curing chamber) fills the need for a compact subsystem for localized, high intensity exposure of UV-curable materials.
The model ECU expandable UV curing unit is a modular approach to high intensity UV conveyor curing systems for industrial applications. This floor standing curing unit is available in various belt widths and UV lamp configurations.
The PM 600 ultraviolet intensity meter provides an easy, convenient way of accurately measuring UV energy produced by high intensity UV systems.
Our UV-curable materials include: UV curable adhesives, UV decorative coatings, protective UV coatings and sealants, UV-curable peelable masks, encapsulants and potting materials.
UVEXS formulates a variety of conventional and UV curable inks. UV pad printing inks are a specialty. High performance inks available from UVEXS include UV offset inks, UV marking inks, UV roll coating inks, UV dry stamp printing inks, UV flexographic inks, UV screen printing inks, and pad printing inks. We carry conventional pad inks as well as our special UV-curable pad printing inks, described below.
Information on some of our products is available on our UV chemistry support page. If you don't see what you are looking for right away, please contact us with your questions. Our chemists can also make custom UV formulations for application-specific needs.
UV Curable Inks
UV Curable Ink for Polypropylene & Polyethylene materials - superior chemical resistance and adhesion to treated surfaces.
UV Curable Ink for Polycarbonate - maximum abrasion resistance on ABS.
UV Curable Ink for Glass, Metals, Nylon and Acrylic - nearly universal application on a variety of substrates.
UV Curable Ink for High Gloss Applications - high gloss UV ink series, same performance qualities as UXE-307, including a wide range of applications.
UV Equipment for Printing - The Basics:
Ultraviolet (UV) curable inks require no post curing phase. Unlike traditional pad printing inks, which remain soft and vulnerable even hours after curing, UV inks dry instantly, reaching maximum hardness in seconds. How does this happen? UV curing produces rapid photo polymerization with very high intensity UV energy. UV inks remain "wet" indefinitely, until exposed to the high intensity UV energy where they quickly cross-link forming a tough polymer matrix. UV curing inks have been used in printing processes for years due to their superior durability and chemical resistance. UVEXS specializes in UV curing system technology products, with technical resources in both light sources and photopolymer chemicals. We provide a truly compatible process, guaranteed to work!
